Pizza Making in Tuscany

Set out for your private tour at Podere Il Casale farm in Southern Tuscany. This hilltop locale offers spectacular views of Val d`Orcia and the Monte Amiata, one of Italy’s highest peaks. Take in the vista that has made Tuscany world famous, with its rolling green hills emblematic of the traditional farm life that continues to thrive in the region.

Located in Monte Amiata, you will also have the chance to participate in a pizza-making class with a top pizzaiolo! Make your friends jealous by learning pizza making in Tuscany with traditional techniques before enjoying your creation for lunch. There’s nothing more Italian than pizza and at the end of your lesson you’ll have learned enough skills to test your hand in your home kitchen.

After a stroll of the grounds, head out to the Renaissance town of Pienza, known for its Pecorino sheep milk cheese, and then to the hilltop town of Montepulciano, the capital of the Val d’Orcia region. Your private driver will show you some Florentine inspired architectural favorites, like the Michelozzo designed town hall, and explain the importance of wine-making in the history of Montepulciano, famed for its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a superb Tuscan red produced nearby.
