Entry is free, with tokens on sale for the purchase of food and beverages. Friday the 6th of April the fun starts at 18.00 until midnight, Saturday 11.00 until midnight, and Sunday 11.00 until 23.00. For full details see the official Pizza Festival website.

What’s your favourite pizza topping? Ours would have to be the Margherita, invented by the Neapolitan pizza maker Raffaele Esposito in 1889 in honor of Queen Margherita (the first Queen of unified Italy) visiting Naples. It’s color combination of red tomato, white mozzarella and green basil, represent the Italian flag.
