What is the best time of year to visit Italy?
pa0l02016-02-15T11:13:08+01:00Italy is great all times of the year and the timing of your trip depends on what you had in mind for your visit. In general, it tends to be slower after the New Year through February, but the weather is a little colder during so it's not the ideal for a shore excursion. The season picks up in March and remains consistently busy throughout the year, peaking during the summer. Late June, July and August tend to be the hottest and most crowded months, while May, early June and September the most ideal. April and October are certainly great as well, but not ideal if you're looking to fit in a visit to the beach or the islands.
