Tuscan Countryside Tour, from the Leaning Tower of Pisa to Artisanal Chocolate
Journey through rolling green hills of vineyards and olive groves to a family-owned fattoria in a lovely village between Florence and Siena during this Tuscan countryside tour designed for the whole family. Enjoy a tasting of their premium wines, olive oils and four seasonal cheeses made solely from the milk of the farm’s Sardinian sheep. Your local expert guide will show you the traditional cheese-making process which the fattoria has been using for the past 30 years. Then carry on to Pisa for lunch and of course a climb to the top of the Leaning Tower! On your way back to Florence, stop at one of the world’s most esteemed chocolate factories for a tour and taste. Watch acclaimed Italian maître chocolatiers hard at work, transforming cocoa beans to edible masterpieces, and then of course sample some of the delicious creations. Return to your accommodation after a fun, and delectably satisfying day.
